Sweet Stripe is a wall mounted sculpture created by Shawn Causey and Mark Daniell. It is made of thousands of thin multicolor nylon strings. The movement of the viewer activates Sweet Stripe as every change in perspective reveals new color harmonies. The strings seem to flicker and undulate as the eye moves because it is difficult to discern which strings in front of the others. This hypnotic effect compels the viewer to move slowly as the eye registers the ever-changing color of the composition.

Sweet Stripe is part of the collection at Cummins Indianapolis Distribution Headquarters.
